The Art Hour — Paris
Where Photography Meets the Moment.

FAQ — The Art Hour
Who can apply?
Photographers only — emerging or established. All styles are welcome as long as they fit the theme and spirit of the event.
What is the required format?
A single, unified format is required to ensure visual harmony. Full specifications (size, color profile, resolution) are provided after selection.
What does the €120 fee include?
The fee covers printing of your image, framing (gallery standard), the opening event, artist badges, a certificate of exhibition, and promotion on our social media.
Are frames included?
Yes — printing and framing are fully handled by the gallery as part of your participation fee. You only need to send your high-resolution file.
Do I need to bring my print?
No. You send a high-resolution digital file, and the gallery manages printing and framing for a consistent exhibition presentation.
Submission deadline
We recommend applying as early as possible. Submissions remain open until all spaces are filled. Places are limited and confirmed upon payment.
Can I submit more than one image?
Each photographer submits one selected image that best represents the theme. You may propose several options during your application, and the curation team will assist in the final choice.
Printing
The gallery handles professional printing using museum-grade paper and inks. Artists will receive final proofs before production to ensure color accuracy and quality.
Refund policy
As the printing and framing are custom-produced for each artist, participation fees are non-refundable once production has started. If you must cancel before production, contact us as soon as possible.
Shipping & pickup
Artists based abroad can ship their prints to the gallery directly if needed. After the exhibition, prints can be picked up in person or shipped back (shipping costs covered by the artist).
Artwork ownership
All artworks remain the exclusive property of the artist. The gallery only uses digital files for exhibition and communication purposes, always with credit given to the photographer.
Online store
The Art Hour may feature selected works on its online gallery showcase or partner platforms after the event, always with the artist’s approval and full credit.
Name cards / labels
The gallery provides name cards including the artist’s name, country, and artwork title. If you wish to include additional information (Instagram, QR code, etc.), please notify the team before printing.
How many guests can I bring to the opening?
Each artist may bring up to 4 guests to the opening night. If you wish to invite more, please contact us in advance — we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Curation & placement of artworks
The curatorial team handles all placement and hanging decisions to ensure a coherent and balanced visual flow. However, we always consider the artist’s vision and are open to discussion before the event.
How are sales managed?
Sales are handled directly between photographer and collector (QR code, transfer, etc.). The gallery takes no commission.
How long does the exhibition last?
The exhibition takes place during a single evening opening — a highlight moment for exposure, exchange, and discovery.
